I'm extremely honored to have been nominated this year for an alumni award by my alma mater (The University of Massachusetts at Amherst).

I'm a big fan of UMass ... it's a great school and I have many fond memories of my time there.
If Al Russell was still here I'd tell him something like: "Russell, I'm not sure i actually did anything useful here ... it may be that my classmates are a bunch of deadbeats and they had no one else to give the award to".
It'll be nice to go back and visit some of my old professors... particularly Dr Sandy Hill, who was my graduate school advisor.
I'll endeavor to drink a Keystone Lite and get DP Dough during my visit. Perhaps a stop at Antonio's.
